Getting your kids up and active is a great way to keep them centered and focused.
The World Health Organization recommends all children, ages 5 – 17, should get at least 60 minutes of aerobic activity a day. This can include “games, play, sports, transportation, chores, recreation, physical education, or planned exercise, in the context of family, school, and community activities.” Do all 60 minutes at once or split it up into 20- or 30-minute bursts of activity throughout the day. The key is to simply get up and move!
