(Health Secrets) The spiritual heart works similarly to the physical heart. Both beat on their own, without us needing to consider them. The electrical forces of the physical heart power the pulse, exercising the heart muscles so nurturing blood is pumped through our bodies. The electrical forces of the spiritual heart open us to the knowledge of our soul, streaming our feelings and allowing us to live with a deeper and more meaningful reason. When life gets out of sync and the spiritual heart is damaged, the result can be an assault on the physical heart.
Below are tips to keep your spiritual heart aligned with your physical heart so you can live a longer and more meaningful life.
1) Stop all negative considerations about yourself and/or others
Let yourself unmask negative judgments and thoughts, and see them for what they are – signs of unhealthy bitterness. Re-formulate your thought in more positive terms. For an example, suppose you are speculating that you look unattractive to others or you are thinking about how unattractive someone else is looking. Stop and talk yourself through that thought by saying something like: “I am a beautiful child of God”, or “This woman has a kind and gentle heart.”
2) Be grateful and appreciative
The more negative thoughts we have, the more troublesome it is to see the positive qualities in ourselves, in others, and in all aspects of life. Sit down and make a list of all you have to appreciate and be grateful for. Take time to contemplate individuals and things that have been real gifts throughout your life.
3) Pray, meditate or do yoga — call upon your Higher Power
Fuse positive carriage and breathing systems with these spiritual activities. Permit the activities to do what they were intended to do: create positive thoughts, reinforce positive energy in brain and body, enhance focus, and create insights and understanding.
4) Lighten up and laugh
Laughter is special prescription for a sound mind, body and soul. Read amusing quotes. Take a gander at the daily paper funny paper. Do a Google search for humorous jokes, stories and situations. Revel in them, laugh and enjoy yourself. Work and earnestness without energetic fun is not good for your physical or spiritual heart. Learn to live a peaceful life filled with positive energy.
5) Maintain a healthy association with friends and companions
Set aside a few minutes every day to communicate with family, friends and acquaintances. Invite them to be a part of your life and share you thoughts, feelings, triumphs and tragedies. Share with them what you adore and let them share their life with you. Take time out to do something fun with them.
7) Keep Physically Fit
The way to accomplishing physical fitness is to give careful consideration to activities that reinforce your core center muscles. These are the muscles in your stomach, upper back, lower back sides and hips. There are many benefits to be had from a well developed central core – a flat stomach, strong back, good posture, decreased strain on the spine, and better ability to power your arms and legs, and to lift and bear weight. A solid core promotes mental energy and readiness, adaptability, and a healthy physical and spiritual heart.
8) Discover how heavenly nutritious and healthy food can be
There is a myth saying diets that are healthy are not heavenly, but this is simply untrue. Eating a diet that focuses on providing the nutrients your body needs instead of indulging in poor quality food will soon become heavenly to you. After you eat a nutrient rich diet for a period of time, you will want to shun the foods you previously indulged in.
9) Take Good Care of Your Skin
As we age, the skins dries, becomes less firm and can develop wrinkles. However, you can slow this aging process by taking the steps noted above and by keeping your skin well hydrated. Use a good organic lotion on your skin daily, and be sure to get plenty of good fats in your diet, such as the omega-3 fatty acids found in cold water fish, top quality eggs, and nuts and seeds.
10) Take time out for yourself each day
Most of us have children at home or are taking care of elderly parents.
