About Valerie Bannos

I am a Dietetic Technician, Registered and Nutritionist with a strong passion for what I do-I started studying nutrition on my own at age 15 and could not stop! I graduated from Illinois State University with a B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics and minor in psychology. I write health articles for a holistic chiropractic office as well as work for US Foods Corporate office as a Healthcare Menu Coordinator.

I have experience with menu writing, meal planning, special dietary needs,food service and eating disorders. I am about nutrition education, counseling, and weight loss; I have a realistic, no fuss approach to nutrition which makes healthy eating adaptable to everyone.
